October 29, 2006 To Whom It May Concern: When I contacted Rosemarie and Kirstin Averhoff regarding the sell of two homes, I did not realize how lucky I was to be for choosing them. This mother and daughter team has more than met my expectations. While a sale of a home can be complicated in itself, it is more so when a parent is the one who will be leaving her home of 30 years due to illness. I just want to say that the things Rosemarie did were just a little short of a miracle. We decided to build our house. | When my employers transferred me from Minnesota to South Carolina, my family and I were complete strangers to Columbia. We had no knowledge of the neighborhoods, school districts and housing prices. We also had very little time in which to decide. "The climate here is good; we have a low crime rate; and the housing market is affordable." Compared with pricey housing markets elsewhere, Columbia is a bargain. For $150,000, Averhoff says, you could get an 1,800-square-foot brick house with a two-car garage.
